missions
In 2019, we planted a church in Matamoros, Mexico. Our Spanish ministry is the primary source of support for this work. The preacher in Matamoros is a local evangelist who lives and works in the city. Matamoros is immediately across the border from Brownsville and is the hometown of our Spanish minister.
We also support Anthony Sanches in Selva LaCondona. He has planted and maintains 9 churches in the dangerous Covadonga Jungle. He is one of a handful of people who have been able to minister to these people who are generally closed to outside religious influence.
We also support in lesser measure to Mission GTO. Mission GTO is a ministry of the Lake Harbour Drive Church of Christ in Jackson, MS. They work in Gunajato, Mexico to train preachers and plant churches in the area.
